What changed

Keep the brand. Repair the delivery.

The work targeted the parts of the existing site that slowed or broke the visitor experience. The final public version keeps Beck's own hero photographs and page structure.

01

Lighter original photography

Responsive AVIF versions of Beck's original hero images reduce transfer while keeping the familiar trucks and service scenes.

02

More reliable styling

Missing generated styles had caused intermittent broken pages. The site now checks and restores the needed page and shared styles before rendering.

03

Clearer mobile and desktop use

Menu targets, hero framing, font loading, image priority, and mobile behavior received focused checks.

04

Privacy-aware measurement

Optional analytics waits for a verified choice, with a persistent way to review or withdraw that choice.

What was verified

Check the site people actually receive.

The October 2026 release was reopened in WordPress and checked on the public site. Original desktop hero images, mobile variants, menu behavior, and complete page styles were verified across both site origins after a controlled cache refresh.

  1. 01WordPress source save and reload matched the accepted performance code.
  2. 02All eight public page routes returned complete documents and styles from both origins in the final warm comparison.
  3. 03Original hero assets and mobile layouts passed their public and browser checks.
  4. 04Cold and signed-in response times still vary, so further hosting work remains a separate performance task.
