Notice at collection

What we collect and why

We collect only information reasonably needed to evaluate work, deliver services, support purchases, protect the service, and understand website performance when you permit optional analytics.

  • Identifiers and contact informationName, business name, email, phone number, website, and information you provide when you contact, book, purchase, or submit a brief. Used to respond, evaluate fit, deliver work, provide support, and maintain business records.
  • Professional and business informationBusiness locations, requested service, timeline, and the operational problem you describe. Used to understand the engagement and prepare the requested work.
  • Commercial and transaction informationService, plan, order and payment identifiers, purchase amount, fulfillment status, and license status. Used to confirm payment, fulfill purchases, support licenses, prevent fraud, and meet accounting obligations. Full card numbers are handled by Square and are not stored by TeeJay's Tech Tools.
  • Internet or electronic activityConsent choice, pages viewed, and selected site interactions. Google Analytics receives page and interaction data only after you allow Analytics. The Google tag does not load before consent. Global Privacy Control forces Advertising off; Analytics remains off unless you separately enable it.
  • Device and license informationA random installation identifier, activation state, and limited operational event types needed for DealerLister licensing, security, and support.

Information comes directly from you, from your use of the website or product, and from service providers such as Square when they confirm a transaction or appointment. We do not request sensitive personal information through public forms. Do not submit passwords, full card data, customer records, government identifiers, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

Retention

The privacy-choice cookie expires after 12 months. Analytics identifiers are also configured to expire after 12 months. Other information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, deliver and support the service, maintain license and security integrity, resolve disputes, and satisfy tax, accounting, contractual, and legal obligations. Records are reviewed against those purposes and should be deleted or de-identified when no longer needed.

California privacy rights

Know, correct, delete, opt out, and use your rights without penalty.

Where California law applies, California residents may request to know or access personal information, correct inaccurate information, delete information subject to legal exceptions, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive equal service without discrimination for exercising a privacy right.

Do Not Sell or Share

We do not sell personal information for money. If you allow optional analytics, website identifiers and activity may be disclosed to Google for measurement; California law may treat some analytics disclosures as “sharing” depending on the facts. “Reject non-essential” prevents the Google tag from loading. We treat a browser-enabled Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out of sale, sharing, profiling, and advertising for that browser. You can reopen the controls from the “Privacy choices” pill on every page.

Make a request

Email teejaycrawford@gmail.com or call 573-854-1909. Describe the right you want to exercise and the email or transaction information needed to locate your record. We will use only reasonably necessary information to verify and answer the request. An authorized agent may submit a request with proof of authorization; we may also confirm the request directly with you when permitted.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about visitors.

Website analytics and cookies

The site uses one necessary, first-party cookie to remember your Analytics and Advertising choices for 12 months. Optional Google Analytics and advertising storage are off by default. Analytics is configured without Google Signals or ad personalization. No advertising pixels are active in this release. Rejecting optional categories does not affect access to the site. If you later revoke Analytics, accessible measurement cookies are deleted and the page reloads without the Google tag.

Private project intake

The project brief stores the information you submit so TeeJay's Tech Tools can evaluate fit, prepare requested work, and follow up. Public case material is anonymized unless a client separately authorizes identification.

Appointments, checkout, and DealerLister

Scheduling and checkout are hosted by Square under Square's own privacy terms. TeeJay's Tech Tools stores limited payment and service identifiers needed to confirm orders, deliver work, support licenses, and maintain business records. DealerLister settings and any OpenAI API key you choose to enter are stored in your local Chrome profile. The API key is sent directly to OpenAI when you request AI-generated copy and is not sent to TeeJay's Tech Tools.

Client systems and source material

Client emails, internal messages, source reports, contacts, customer records, and proprietary operating data are not published merely because they were used to understand a business problem. Client work is separately scoped, and access is limited to authorized sources and the agreed purpose.

Service providers and security

We use service providers for hosting, scheduling, payment processing, email delivery, licensing, security, and analytics, only with consent. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Changes

This notice may be updated as the website, services, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
